I got really confused at first, and then like the light of the morning sunrise I woke up to what Katie is actually saying. We talk about ‘woke’ culture, but Babylon is more like a filter than a photo – it’s not really real and there’s nothing to be ‘woke’ about. At DNA they taught about the story of Jesus post-ressurection when he literally walks through a wall. The suggestion is that he’s a ghost; the reality is it’s because he’s become more real -more woke- than the wall itself. It’s the wall passing over him. Don’t look too closely at Babylon without looking first at Jesus.
