CHILDREN'S LIVES

hi parents

God has given you a place of significant influence in the spiritual lives of your children and that place cannot be replicated or replaced

RACHEL TURNER

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!

The vision behind our children and youth work is to support, encourage, train and equip you in your role in discipling your wonderful and unique children.  As a team we are are here for you and we want to cheer you on, have your back and help you have all the skills you feel you need to do this well.

What our children most need to see is what a real relationships with God looks like up close and in the every day – and you are in exactly the right position to do that!

HOW OUR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY HELPS

At this age, we know that children only come if you brings them, so this ministry is involved with parents and families. Gen Griffiths leads the team and placing the family and parents at the centre of her work she works part-time building relationships, resourcing parents, strengthening networks and leading the children’s teams in all our mid-week and Sunday groups.

MID-WEEK ACTIVITIES

MONDAY TOTS PRAISE | WEDNESDAY MORNING – JIGSAW GROUPS | FRIDAY MORNING TODLER CAFE

  • 10am – 11am | TOTS PRAISE runs every Monday in term time in the church chancel for a wonderful time of child oriented worship and learning.  It’s such a great way to start the week.

  • 9.30am – 12pm | JIGSAW runs on Wednesday mornings.  Join other women meeting at the centre for friendship, community and discipleship.

  • 9.30am – 11am | TODDLER CAFE  On Fridays Gen hosts a weekly Toddler Cafe which is full of life but crucially focused as much on the needs of the parents and carers as it is on the children.

SUNDAY GROUPS

CRECHE & TOTZONE | SPARKLERS | FIREWORKS

On Sundays there are three groups for our little ones – Creche & Totzone, Sparklers and Fireworks.  There lots of children to play and learn with and the team of helpers are excited and ready to welcome you every week.  Parents with very small children can stay with them, and enjoy meeting others and reflecting on the theme of the day, but it’s so great that children can be left safely so that parents and carers can continue to worship knowing that their children are having a great time.
